The Grand Wailea Resort on the South Shore boasts a pool complex that’s larger than your imagination! And this is in addition to having it’s own water park.

It has 4 waterslides, a lazy river that’s perfect for the newest swimmer to float down, whitewater rapids and rope swings. Plus, there’s a kiddy pool with a man-made volcano with a water elevator!

Next on my list of the best Maui resorts for families is the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel. It’s located on the super popular Kaanapali Beach that features 3-miles of golden sand. I think it’s one of the best kid-friendly hotels in Hawaii.
It is made up of 432 stunning rooms and larger family suites. The rooms here are spacious and luxurious, and lot of the rooms and suites have covered lanais. Enjoy mini fridges, rooms with connecting doors, and cribs upon request.
The best feature of this hotel is that it is especially kid-friendly. If you visit here, your kids will receive a free Aloha Passport Program. As a family on vacation, this program is a great way to experience the best of the Hawaiian culture. Parents and kids alike can attend ukulele, hula, and even lei-making classes!

The Napili Kai Beach Resort is located on Napili Bay on Maui’s West Side. If you’re looking for one of the best affordable family resorts in Hawaii, this is it.
It has an amazing location on a cove beach along ten acres of beachfront property. And the resort features 11 buildings with plantation-style rooms and suites!
There are a total of 163 suites and guest rooms, some with full kitchens in some of the rooms. The atmosphere is not as luxurious as the other upscale resorts here, but it is low-key and relaxing.
