Baked Huli Huli Chicken Recipe
Super juicy on the inside and with a crunchy, crackly skin this is the most flavorful piece of chicken you’ll ever have.

Usually, this dish is cooked on a spire where people turn it as they cook. The term "huli huli" means "to turn" in Hawaiian.
Ingredients
You'll need ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, chicken, and oil.

Make Sauce

Combine all the sauce ingredients and cook on the stove until it's nice and thick. Let cool.
Marinate Chicken

Pour half the BBQ over the raw chicken and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 12 hours)
Grease Baking Pan

Grease a baking pan with oil and place the chicken in it. Bake for 15 minutes.
Baste and Cook

Brush chicken with BBQ sauce and bake 10 minutes. Brush again and bake for 15 more minutes.
Serve it
You can serve it with a dish of extra Hawaiian BBQ sauce. Goes great with roasted veggies and rice or baked potatoes.
