Simple Watermelon and Pineapple Crafts for Kids

Looking for some easy and adorable tropical fruit crafts to make out of toilet paper rolls? Check out these watermelon and pineapple crafts for kids that are simple yet cute!

My family is pretty obsessed with pineapples! We’ve been buying at least 2 each week for the past couple of months, and my kids just can’t get enough.

Not only do we enjoy eating them, but we also love anything with a pineapple motif. They are just so cute!

I have several pineapple crafts for adults up on the site (like this pineapple centerpiece), so I thought it would be fun to share a similar pineapple craft for kids.

This would make a fun backyard luau craft, or kids could make them as napkin ring holders for a summer party!

And because summer is just around the corner, I threw in a bonus watermelon craft idea! It’s all on the same template.

Okay, let’s learn how to make an easy paper pineapple craft for kids!

Step 3:

Select your craft papers for the pineapple. Any shade of yellow or green works best, but you can also change it up with other colors.

Step 4:

Use the templates to trace and cut out the pieces from colorful craft papers. Use marker pens to draw outlines and details. It’s helpful to use a ruler when drawing the lines of the pineapple body.

Step 5:

First wrap the yellow craft paper around the toilet paper roll and secure it with the glue stick.
