No. I’m a Hawaii travel consultant for families, not a travel agent. I don’t book anything for you. You book your own flights, hotels, and activities, and I help you make the decisions first: which island, where to stay, what to do, and how to put it all together so the trip actually works for your family.
What’s the difference between a Hawaii travel consultant and a travel agent?
A travel agent books your trip for you. A Hawaii travel consultant helps you plan it, and you do the booking yourself. As a Hawaii Tourism Authority Certified Hawaii Destination Expert with 40+ trips to Hawaii, I focus on giving you advice that fits your family, like which island suits your kids’ ages, which hotels have room for everyone, and how much you can realistically fit into one day.
Is a Hawaii travel consultation worth it?
It’s worth it if you feel overwhelmed by all the choices, you’re stuck between islands or hotels, or you want someone who has been there many times to sanity-check your plans before you spend thousands of dollars. Hawaii trips are a big investment for most families, and a 60 or 90 minute call can help you avoid common mistakes like choosing the wrong island for your crew, packing too much into each day, or staying somewhere that’s a long drive from everything you want to do.
