Yes! I think it’s important to set realistic expectations and scale down your itinerary, but it can be a blast bringing toddlers to Maui. There are lots of calm beaches, kid friendly restaurants, and fun excursions in Maui for toddlers.

Should I bring my toddler to a luau on Maui?

Most Maui luaus are super kid friendly. And toddlers are often free (or have a reduced ticket price). Because of the time change, I suggest booking your luau on Maui for later in your trip so your toddler can stay awake for part of the show. When it comes to things to do in Maui for kids, we have to kick off our list with the Maui Ocean Center. It’s the premier kid friendly attraction on Maui and one of our favorite Maui activities with toddlers.

Kids ages 3 and younger are free. There’s also an on-site restaurant that’s pretty tasty. It’s no wonder it’s one of the best Maui kids activities.

2. Old Lahaina Luau

I think this is a good option for families with a toddler and an older kid so they can do it together, but separately.

So, I’m including this Maui submarine ride on the list because it’s for kids at least 36 inches tall. So, if you have a tall toddler, this might be a fun option for you.
